In Australia, UFO is associated with the most famous in the country Westhol an event that turns fifty this year. However even after the accident of half a century, its participants did not become closer to unraveling – and what happened then on the sixth of April 1966.
On that day, the epicenter of unprecedented events before the village was the average Westall School, near which strange flying objects in the form of disks without any identification marks. Then these three plates of aliens (as journalists later determined) landed on the school playground. It was eleven in the morning naturally, schoolchildren and teachers poured out onto the street to look at this miracle.
As it turned out later, at the UFO landing site, the grass crouched and discolored in even circles. It is worth saying that aliens do not began to leave their devices, which after some time safely flew away. Why did they maneuver near the school and so more landed, remained a mystery behind seven seals.
Literally after a while, the school was occupied reporters, as well as men in strict black suits and with very serious faces. The last “politely” asked witnesses nothing don’t tell anyone. However, their warnings failed act.
Many witnesses, among whom were both children and adults, shared their impressions with reporters, and already on another day, The Dandenong Journal reported on UFO, and television “Nine News” released a similar report already in evening release of the same day.

Of course, the print run scattered at the speed of the wind, and it was impossible to collect it already, but the video materials about The Westol event was soon seized and subsequently disappeared from editorial archive. True, researchers were found, like, say, ufologist Shane Ryan, who for many years then collected UFO arrival certificates. I must say that Shane succeeded in this in fact, because he found more than a hundred people who saw the arrived that morning, plates of aliens with my own eyes.
Eyewitness accounts of the Westfall event
For example, Joy Clark was only twelve years old at the time, but she, as now, sees the events that unfolded that day. She was in class when this happened, at this time in the room other disciples burst in and began, choking with excitement, talk about fantastic news. Naturally, Joy along with the rest of the guys who did not have time for the “distribution” rushed to the street. On the clearing near the school, she recalls, there were three UFOs, all of them were in in the form of disks. It was clearly not earthly apparatuses, but when they rose into the air, somehow abruptly and silently, then completely fired an indelible impression on all, bordering on admiration and fear. Then the military appeared, as well as the people in black, they became to interrogate everyone who saw a UFO, and practically – to threaten.
Another student, Peck, was even luckier. When the UFO landed near the school, she was nearby and played cricket. She did it run up to the plates at a distance of six meters and well view these amazing aircraft. They were absolutely round, Peck recalls, significantly more cars. And below them lights shimmered, as if running after each other. In the afternoon few people noticed them, but I stood very close to the UFO.

But Jacqueline recalls more how after her incident summoned to the director and began to interrogate. These were three people in strict black suits and a very correct speech. After hearing an inconsistent story of a girl, men tried to impress that all this she just imagined how sometimes the little green men seem.
There were some like Hazel Edwards, who was working at the time. teacher at school. She told ufologist Ryan that nothing there wasn’t much that morning, just the kids got aroused by the arrival of some devices, possibly military, and then came up with God knows what. However, with regard to the paranormal, skeptics like Edwards, were, is, and will be, since a certain type people will never believe that goes beyond life experience acquired by them.
Nevertheless, in memory of the Westol UFO, who visited the middle school in 1966, a memorial park was built near it. And although he has neither official status nor any material exhibits, people know about him, and therefore often come here to feel in touch with something prohibitively mysterious and almost unreal …
