In 1980, the thirty-two-year-old Granger Taylor of Canada left a note to his relatives in which he said that he was sent on a journey through the universe on a makeshift intergalactic ship, and disappeared. The man took with him neither clothes, nor money, nor documents, nor any things. Since its disappearance has passed for thirty-six years, and no one knows what happened to him.
Taylor, who spent his childhood on Vancouver Island, was very talented and unusual young man. In eighth grade, he dropped out because he independently mastered the program for the whole school, and became actively interested in mechanics and electronics. IN at the age of fourteen Granger built a unique single car, and three years later completely repaired the old a bulldozer found at a local landfill.

Over time, the Canadian became obsessed with unidentified flying objects and extraterrestrial civilizations. He built in the yard parental home spacecraft similar to flattened cylinder with two antennas, four legs and a porthole in the shape of eyes. Despite the modest dimensions of a makeshift probe, Taylor calmly fit in it, spending whole days inside. Relatives of the man did not attach much importance to his enthusiasm, believing that Granger is simply “not from this world,” but his interplanetary the ship is just a decoration for strange for this already adult man games.
The Canadian flew away using the wormhole
On November 29, 1980, the Canadian disappeared. With him his ship also evaporated. The month before, Taylor told one from his comrades that the aliens from outer space got in touch with him, who telepathically provided him with a map of inhabited planets Universe with routes – wormholes, on which data celestial bodies can be reached in the shortest possible time. This whole month the inventor hardly crawled out of his probe. He became utterly focused and even slept just a couple of hours a day, devoting all my free time improving my manned spacecraft.
In March 1986, foresters found relatively close to home Taylor is something unusual. It’s as if several large pieces of dynamite: many trees were laid to the sides, trunks others were burnt, and an impressive funnel flaunted in the ground. Arriving specialists discovered at the site of the alleged explosion human bone, however for reasons still not known experts did not determine to whom the fragment of the remains belonged to.

To this day, Granger is missing. His living brothers and sisters who have long been retired do not lose hope, that their relative will nevertheless return safe and sound. However some who knew Taylor are sure that the Canadian died in an explosion in forest, others suggest that he secretly began a new life somewhere in south america. Many, however, are convinced that the canadian really left Earth, and not necessarily that in his home-made apparatus. Perhaps his flight was metaphysical, and on other planets went only the consciousness of Taylor, who aliens from outer space have shown how to travel between stars. FROM on the other hand, they could provide him with the technology of creation (refinement) of his device to the desired parameters, so he could really fly through space-time channels on it to other worlds.
