In the Chinese Dinghui Monastery in Wuang (Hebei Province) is stored deeply revered mummy of a Buddhist monk Tsy Xiang. He himself was originally from India, however at the end of the first millennium appeared in China, where he successfully preached and spread Buddhism.
It was a successful preacher who, in the end, many followers and disciples appeared. It is they in further, when Master Tsy Xian left this mortal world, embalmed him, and the mummies themselves were worshiped for a long time, although with time, it was lost (or rather, buried from the possible vandalism).

The mummy hidden in the cave was accidentally discovered only in seventies of the last century, after which she “settled” in the walls of the Dinghui Monastery in Wuan. Recently the monks have become show zeal to the mummy gilded it as a sign of the highest respect for the master. But not stopped at this. More recently, the leadership of the monastery asked the doctors to scan the mummy.

Scientists willingly agreed, because they themselves were interested in this interesting study. And on July 8 of this year, right in the temple Dinghui, a tomography of the ancient Buddhist mummy was performed monk. Doctors brought the necessary equipment here and spent scanning the internal contents of the mummy.
