Hong Kong’s richest tycoon Lee Kashin, owner of an entire network companies worth more than one hundred billion US dollars, including the famous CK Hutchison Holdings, the other day opened a museum of Buddhist art.

At the opening ceremony of this unique institution, which, according to to the most conservative estimates, the tycoon cost almost half a billion dollars, he was present with his sons. Notice they were not only inspirers of the idea, but also took an active part in the implementation of this interesting idea.

The Buddhist Museum is located in the monastery, occupying an area of 2230 square meters. The monastery itself is located in the north of Hong Kong. Huge expenses were required not only for the purchase of land, premises, but also for the acquisition of exhibits, however, many of them were simply donated to the museum. Among them, more than a hundred Buddhist sculptures and half a hundred unique scriptures.

Despite the huge costs incurred by the Lee Kashin Foundation, the museum is open exclusively for free visits, and itself the owner of this unique establishment in Hong Kong assured reporters that he will remain forever. And this is despite the fact that the tycoon, apparently, will have to invest a lot more in this enterprise funds, first of all, for the acquisition of other unique artifacts for the museum.
