There is a village Dubovy Log near Gomel in Belarus. Nothing seemingly not remarkable, except for the incident that happened here in March 2003. The inhabitants of this night woke up one night villages from shots. Frightened, someone climbed into the cellar, someone in the attic. They thought the war began again. We looked outside and there really are soldiers crawling in German uniforms. First the shootout was heard by one of the local residents, 60-year-old Maria Evseevna Dobysch, who lived on the outskirts of the village. According to her, the sounds heard from Lake Vygonovsky, located in three kilometers from the village. After some time, gray flashed in the window the shadows. In the light of a street lamp, a woman made out strange people in military uniform. Faces in the dark were not visible, but helmets on their heads were as if not ours. But here shots rang out from the opposite side of the street – it fired at the attacker was his neighbor, the best hunter in the village, Mikhail Marynich. Then Yarosh also decided to open fire.
