The brothers caught fire, closed in a dark room and spent experiment. Gennady looked at the woman’s portrait for a long time, and then extinguished lighting on a detailed film. The film was developed. A clear portrait did not work, but the contour of the female face in the frames imprinted.

If for Nicholas the experience was just fun, then Gennady continued the experiments one by one. Doctor Krokhmalev worked in a psychiatric clinic and patients (alcoholics and drug addicts), from time to time experiencing fears and he had more than enough horrors. By 1990, Krokhalev had 33 publications in scientific journals Germany, Japan, Poland, Czechoslovakia, the USA and others. About him 6 documentaries were shot in the experiments.
Stones on the scientist’s road
However, his views did not fit into the official patterns science and came into conflict with the Leninist doctrine of matter. Natural persecution began. Filings of applications for inventions deviated. The correspondent of APN, who published an article about him, was fired. Krokhalev was invited to scientific conferences in Japan and the USA, but they didn’t let him out of the country. In scientific circles, he was ranked as false scientists, his views and research – pseudoscientific.
But at the same time, someone showed to his research quite burning interest.
In the spring of 1991, Gennady Pavlovich received a letter from one of Moscow Closed Soviet Research Center special services. Asked to send research materials for study. IN exchange promised the allocation of millions in research. Krokhalev sent the results of 17 years of work. He did not receive money, materials did not return back.
Krokhalev continued to work and claimed to be on the verge of discoveries with which you can claim the Nobel Prize. Than he was going to shake the scientific world, and remained a mystery. In April 1998, the scientist committed suicide.
Strange suicide
Krokhalev’s death was a shock to all his relatives, friends and acquaintances. Neither the daughter of the scientist nor his brother believe in suicide. Behind two hours before his death, Nikolai spoke to Gennady on the phone, he was cheerful, talked about his plans for the future. Nikolai tried to hold an independent examination with a clarification of the causes of death, but at home I heard phone call. An unfamiliar voice warned that if Nikolai will “dig”, then go after his brother.
