According to the English edition of METRO, it has recently been discovered four pictures taken in 1930 during a spiritualistic sessions in which a ghost is captured.

In one of the pictures, the figure of a dark-haired woman is clearly visible, draped in a shawl. The rest of the photos also show her face, but in surrounded by fog, which parapsychologists call ectoplasm.
Photos found in the records of Lieutenant Colonel Gordon Tucker, that were stored all this time in the State Archives of North Ireland.

“These manifestations look like faces surrounded by white fog, known as ectoplasm, “says archive worker Alan Robertson.
Spiritual sessions were quite popular in the 30s, as many tried to make contact with their friends and close who died during the First World War.
At the same time, Mr. Robertson offers a rational explanation: according in his opinion, these pictures were taken by double exposure frame (overlay of one image on another), or as the ghost used a mannequin.
