A bit of history
The monastery with bad fame is located in the north of the country, in Piedmont, near the city of Vercelli. It was founded in 1123 Cistercian monks. At first, the history of the monastery was not connected with anything supernatural or mystical.
By the sixteenth century, heretics and black magicians were inundated with northern Italy, and the local Inquisition became famous for its merciless attitude towards them. Many brutal trials of local residents took place in the walls of Luchedio.
Probably the biggest mystery of the monastery is one of the columns in the central hall of the monastery. Inexplicably she periodically covered with drops of liquid that resembles tears. In the same time a soft and mournful moan is heard from inside the column. As it says legend, unfortunate accused witchcraft and heresy.
Sharpened demon
The monastery’s life changed dramatically in 1684 – after one warlock ineptly spent on a nearby cemetery satanic ritual. According to legend, he managed to call out the underworld of a powerful demon, but could not hold him in submission.
After that, the hellish creature began to roam at nights surroundings, killing belated travelers and terrifying local residents. It also appeared to the girls here in a dream and commanded them seduce monks.
At the end of the 17th century, a long series begins in the abbey. terrible torture, murder and rituals. It was said that it’s often young men engaged in seasonal work disappeared. They were terribly tormented after which the poor were sacrificed to Satan.

A century later, the notoriety of the sinister abbey reached the Vatican, after which, an experienced exorcist was sent by his father to Luchedio. FROM with incredible work the priest controlled the demon and sealed unclean creature in the crypt under the church altar.
Pope Pius VI decided to officially close the Abbey of Luchedio, which was done in September 1784. However, this is the story the diabolical monastery did not end.
Present
Nowadays, the abbey periodically drops an unusual thick fog: it completely envelops all the buildings of the monastery and at the same time does not applies to the county. In his whitish veil appear ghostly moving figures.
A small destroyed cemetery of the abbey and the ruins of the old someone chose the church to conduct some gloomy rituals. Often here are found the remains of sacrificed animals and people!..
In the sixties of the last century an attempt was made restore the church of St. Mary however unexpectedly collapsed the ceiling and death crushed one worker. All actions on restorations immediately ceased. Found in the wall of the dwelling there was a walled skeleton in fragments of a monastic cassock. And quite recently excavated in church dungeons stranger find – mummified remains of several monks, who for some reason were seated in a circle. Not it is possible that these people are victims of some cruel ritual or, on the contrary, play the role of prison guards, where until now sharpened demon.

The terrible legends surrounding Luchedio attract to the abbey many paranormal researchers and just lovers adventures. However, no one can stay there as long how much it takes to study the monastery well, and the reason for this is inexplicable horror, covering even experienced hunters for ghosts.
