The photo was taken in 1919, two days after death aircraft mechanics Freddy Jackson. His funeral took place that day. Goddard squadron members confidently identify the ghost in the picture like Jackson. This story was told by Stephen Wagner, a researcher. paranormal phenomena with great experience, in an article for About.com.
Founder of the Paranormal Research Association Alex Matsuo said that this shot is an official photograph, made for the air force so couldn’t be technically modified with malicious intent.
The person who appeared above the soldier’s head in the back row is not similar to the faces of any of the soldiers, which, according to Matsuo, eliminates the possibility of double exposure.
