Not so long ago, the Spanish horror film “Veronica”, the title which Russian distributors for some reason translated as “Wiji: The Curse of Veronica. ”
The tape tells the story of a 15-year-old schoolgirl who lives in Madrid with her mother, younger brother and two younger sisters. Their father recently died, and the widow is forced to work from morning to night, to provide for a family. Scary movie events begin after the main character Veronica and her friends spend session with the spiritual board Uiji during a solar eclipse 11 July 1991

After the picture was at the box office, many film critics and experts recognized her as the worst horror movie. we got acquainted with this work and came to the conclusion that Veronica is entirely based on real events.

The film was based on the story of a teenage girl Estefania Gutierrez Lazaro, who died in 1991 in the Spanish capital under very mysterious circumstances. It was the first in history of modern Spain, when law enforcement officers registered a supernatural phenomenon, even if the police refused officially call him that.
Estefania’s terrible hobby
Estefania, a prototype of Veronica, lived with relatives in the south Madrid region of Vallecas. Schoolgirl’s grandmother, Concepcion Lazaro, being on the deathbed, for some reason unknown to us, cursed before the death of his whole family, promising many relatives misfortunes.
A couple of weeks after the death of an elderly woman, her granddaughter began to behave very strange. She began to get involved in spiritualism and acquired a board of Wiji for communication with spirits. Close relatives schoolgirls, unfortunately, were too busy with their affairs to seriously pay attention to her unhealthy hobby.

Once Estefania invited two classmates to hold spiritualistic session in the basement of the school. Girlfriends decided to evoke a spirit the boyfriend of one of them, who crashed shortly before a motorcycle. The mystical ritual was interrupted by the teacher who made students in such an unusual occupation.
The teacher and two other girls subsequently told the police, that during the session, the tablet-pointer started spontaneously scampering around the wiggie board and then scattered into many small fragments. Estefania then fell to the floor, and from her mouth and nose strange smoke fell.
Horror in the Lazaro family and the death of a girl
After this mysterious incident, our heroine became show signs of obsession. She started with nothing growl, rush at relatives. She had seizures and convulsions, but doctors could not help the unfortunate. By all physical indicators, she was absolutely healthy.

When Estefania recovered, she said that she saw by at night a dark human silhouette in their own bedroom. In home the real devilry began to happen: the doors opened and closed by themselves, light bulbs blinked, in the dark from silent steps and groans came from the empty corridor. The family changed the house however, abnormal activity continued in the new home the Spaniards.
A few months later, the schoolgirl died in her room. Her death still remains inexplicable. An autopsy showed that girls refused heart and lungs, however the reason for such a stop forensic experts did not find the work of the main internal organs of man. The incident interested the police. Guardians of the Law in this house, with my own eyes saw how the deceased’s bedroom is flying things, and dark marks appear on the wall, remotely similar to handprints.
Law enforcement officers recorded all these observations in their report. When the Spanish journalists learned about the incident, the news turned into a nationwide sensation. Lazaro family not wanting to be in the spotlight of the press after such a loss, she moved again. No one knows for sure whether devilry left her after that or not. One thing is for sure: it is Estefania’s desire to reach out to the inhabitants of the subtle world has led to such a tragic the consequences.
