The other day in the Italian press appeared a mystical story of one from members of the Veraldi family. The essence of this story is that in the family still holds the tradition and there are material evidence that three years after the death of Giuseppe Veraldi, his spirit came to the living, in order to name the names of those who him killed. However, he did not appear in the form of a terrible ghost like the shadow of Hamlet’s father.

Three years after this tragedy, in January 1939, fifteen-year-old Maria Talariko walked along the ill-fated bridge with her sister. Suddenly, Maria moaned and knelt, and then fell unconscious. The girl was taken home, and after a few hours she woke up.

In a manly voice, Maria announced that she was Giuseppe Veraldi, after which she ordered her mother to bring her into the house. Dr. Giovanni Scambia examined Mary and found her completely healthy. However the girl was clearly out of order and insisted, all the same in a male voice, at a meeting with the “mother.” The doctor turned inventive and suggested that Pepe (or who it was) write mothers note. He readily drew on a piece of paper a few handwriting phrases of an adult. Very soon, in the house where she lived Maria, Katerina Veraldi burst in. Signora Veraldi sat in tears at her son’s bedside for several hours. He talked about his childhood, gave details from family life. “Risen Pepe” said that he was killed by friends, with with which he drank in the evening at the bar, and named the names of his killers. Giuseppe asked to be led to the bridge, and there he indicated the place, where he was beaten and thrown down. Police refuse to initiate proceedings against killers
Police officers flatly refused to initiate the case on based on the testimonies of Katerina Veraldi, the spouses of Talarico and the doctor Giovanni Scambia. The rejection sounded something like this: “Signora Veraldi! Your grief is understandable, but what will we write to our superiors? The spirit of Giuseppe Veraldi, who died three years ago, returned here to give details of his death? And on this basis will someone start a re-investigation? Yes we will be raised to laughter!”

And nine years later, Signore Veraldi received a letter. Human named Luigi Marcete wrote that he and his three friends really killed Giuseppe and it was because of the woman. Author listed the names of the three remaining killers. These were the very people whom the spirit of Pepe once accused! Based on this written recognition of the criminal case re-opened. One of killers by this time were no longer alive, two other arrested confessed to the crime. Luigi Marcete himself lived in Argentina, which did not give out criminals to Italy …
