A photo from open sources Underpass under Dimitrov Avenue in the Russian city of Novosibirsk has acquired an unusual resident. There a decoration appeared in the form of a flickering screen with an image little ghost. The white creature on the monitor has an ominous view, which scares children and leaves a depressing impression on adult pedestrians.
The author of the unusual installation was Annika Ericsson – Berlin artist with swedish roots. A woman came to Novosibirsk on two weeks at the invitation of the director of the Goethe Institute and immediately decided present to residents of the city so controversial in terms of its goodwill gift. All costs associated with installation and the contents of the monitor, took over the institute.

So far, the little ghost has no official name. According to Ericsson, with the pulsating light of the screen, an illusion is created, as if white the creature sways in the air. The artist is aware that the picture causes disturbing emotions in many Novosibirsk citizens. Not less, the German is sure that there are positive aspects to this – musings on ghosts and otherworlds force man to think about death and value your life a little more. And this is already a plus
