The city of Boden is small, with 28 thousand inhabitants. is he located in the north of Sweden, just 110 kilometers from the Polar circle. At the beginning of the XIX century on the rocky shore of the Baltic Sea was a fortress was laid, and a small town grew near the fortress.
From the very beginning, the military played an important role in Boden’s life. Therefore, it is no coincidence that the Museum of Military History is organized in the town and defense. It is located on the territory of the former Norrbotten artillery regiment. Exposition of the Military History Museum devoted to the history of the Swedish armed forces and the military history of Europe from the end of the 19th century to the present.

The museum opened not so long ago and its expositions are expanding and are being formed. While the museum staff collected exhibits and prepared showrooms, nothing supernatural happened there.
