Russian paratroopers are sure that in the sky over Russia there is a phantom of a white paratrooper who rescues Russian jumpers from imminent death. There are many testimonies from reputable military and athletes, not to mention the fact that many people hid and still hide such help so as not to pass for crazy.
True white parachutist is sometimes called differently, say, “flying Ryazan”, but the essence of this does not change. It is unique aerial ghost that has long been helping paratroopers in extreme situations. Today, few people remember when a white paratrooper appears, and even more so understands why he comes to the aid of individual extremals and why in other cases It remains as if aloof from the disaster. Apparently, in the subtle world there are laws and bans on help …
White skydiver – mysterious savior
The famous journalist Nikolai Cherkashin was the first to become cover this “phantom theme”, which today is not very is welcomed in the Russian Air Force, and in the USSR it was completely prohibitive, and therefore forbidden. However, the journalist found such military men, to whom the white paratrooper saved his life, and they simply could not resist, so as not to tell the journalist who believes in this air ghost.
For example, one colonel paratrooper once jumped with IL-76, left the car among the last, and so calmly opened the parachute and with pleasure he watched the earth inevitably approaching. AND suddenly someone shouted over his ear so that he would sharply go to the right. Naturally, the experienced paratrooper executed the command without hesitation, and then a soldier with an undershot parachute flies past him. Delay colonel for at least a few seconds and this guy would just fall on its dome and crushed it – as a result, they both died. And so both survived because the fighter eventually managed to uncover reserve. However, the paratrooper did not even remember this for his whole life, but the white paratrooper he saw when he decided to say thank you to your savior. The white ghost quickly flew up into the sky, so the paratrooper could not even properly examine it …

Athlete Vasily Krasnov recalls his meeting with heaven a ghost. He then hopped with a group of climbers at night in the Pamirs. Unfortunately, it was blown away by the wind, and the skydiver is already I didn’t expect to return alive. When suddenly a paratrooper appeared in front of him all white and waved – go, they say, follow me. Thanks to this, Krasnov successfully sat on a tiny mountain site, and the white conductor calmly “went into the abyss.”
Vitaliy Cherednichenko from Kiev recalls his story related with a white paratrooper. He then went on to break the record in a lingering the jump. When the device was still a kilometer from the ground, Vitaly heard a scream over his ear: immediately rip off the ring! Mechanically following the order, an experienced athlete avoided apparent death, because, as it turned out, the automatic elevator deteriorated and showed the distance to the surface of the earth is wrong. At that time, Vitaly recalls in the sky, except for him, there could be nobody, nevertheless less, he noticed a paratrooper in all white, who saved athlete. By the way, no one saw a white paratrooper from the ground, although a mass of people watched Cherednichenko’s jump …
Who is this white skydiver?
Journalist Nikolai Cherkashin naturally decided to find out when a heavenly savior appeared and what they themselves think about it paratroopers, especially Russian military paratroopers. And here is what turned out to be in fact. In the thirties of the last century in Tsarskoye Selo (Pushkino) there was a landing school, and in the area of the Gatchina airdrome young fighters trained in parachute jumping. Among the cadets there was someone Ivan Volkorez – a fearless and very successful parachutist, which was famous for constantly installing more and more long jump records, always landing first, which is very appreciated by the authorities.
The recklessness of this remote guy sometimes even scared commanders, however, Ivan was lucky and always landed without any problems. And once he argued with the guys that he would open the parachute only on the level of the cross of the bell tower, which stood on the edge of the polygon (in an abandoned church just housed the command and observation paragraph). Like every Komsomol member, Volkorez did not believe in God, and therefore even swore that he would never come to earth unless take such a long jump.

And he really, witnesses say, no longer stepped on mother earth. As soon as his legs were at the level of the cross, in the sky “flashed” a fantastically bright white parachute. Flashed and … went up until he was out of sight of astonished paratroopers. Since then, Ivan Volkorez no one else saw, but the white paratrooper soon appeared in memories paratroopers, athletes – those to whom this “good phantom” is somehow otherwise saved a life …
