German traveler Daniel Bieber who visited the other day Costa Brava Mediterranean coast, photographed a striking phenomenon that does not yet have a detailed scientific explanations. Although the phenomenon was given the official name – murmuration, – experts are not yet able to say how the starlings manage to form such amazing figures in the sky. The birds are behaving like one living organism, and shape their flocks incredible objects.

This time, thousands of common starlings flying over Spain, folded into one giant bird silhouette. From the side it even seemed that this huge, ephemeral bird in the sky flaps its wings. Author The submitted photographs suggest that the starlings did not just. According to the German, in a similar way the birds reacted on the appearance near the flock of hawk. They say, to frighten off a predator, the singers formed an imaginary giant above the ground, which successfully frightened off the enemy.
