Olga and Vitaly Romantsov revived a small village Mikhailovka Nizhny Novgorod region. Now in the once dying the village doubled the number of inhabitants and is under construction new homes.
The owners of the farmstead took 17 children under their care. TO at that moment in their family there were already two native children. But spouses decided that every year several children will be adopted.
– We lived, worked. Serezha was in the 9th grade, Natasha – in the 8th. A rehabilitation center has opened near our house in the village “Pelican”. Children from dysfunctional families began to come here study time, ”said 45-year-old mother-heroine Olga Romantsova. -And Seryozha met Andryusha there – the first boy whom We took. My son asked me: “Mom, let’s take it for the summer, the boy is so good, and there everyone offends him. “We took him only for the summer, but in the end I took custody of him. When we agreed that he lived with us, my daughter said that she, too there is a girlfriend from the center. And we thought – the two of them will go together to study, and the girls will be at home. Why not? So I have and became four children.
Later, Olga and Vitaly had two more children. And with a family rehabilitated and opened in the village children’s rehabilitation center.
After some time, the social institution was full completely. 28 of his little inhabitants, abandoned by his parents, really waiting for their new home. The Romantsovs turned out to be one of those families who are not indifferent to the fate of abandoned children.
– I realized that this case is addictive. You will regret one, the second it becomes a pity, it’s already impossible to look at the third one. You think: okay! Enough space for everyone, ”a mother of many children shares her feelings. – FROM in the morning you’ll stroke everyone’s head, in the evening you’ll kiss everyone at night, during the day you ask: “What is our mood?” – and everyone is happy, everyone are smiling.
– Children will grow up. The native son will remain in the village or adoptive – no difference. All of them are my relatives! – supports spouse 53-year-old father-hero Vitaly Romantsov. – I often say that You can work anywhere, but you need to live here. I took eight plots of land per hectare for each child. Which of the guys wants to live here – to that I will give the site. May our village be reborn will start. We are already growing up a new generation and has begun construction. Older guys are already building their houses. We ever die, and someone will live here …
Now the Romantsov family has 21 children. The oldest is 26 years old the youngest is only eight. A large and friendly family has already played four weddings. Olga and Vitaly already have five grandchildren. On the way yet several wedding ceremonies, and in just a month the family is waiting another replenishment.
– We moved from Crimea because we won the tender for farming, – a large family talks about his life mother. – It was very difficult, there were no friends, no relatives. We lived in a trailer, there were no roads and a bridge – all built from scratch.
Now the population of a small village has doubled. Local the authorities are proud of the Romantsov family, and residents take an example from them. Not so long ago several more families appeared in Mikhailovka that followed the example of a large family and took custody of children from local rehabilitation center.
