Time capsules are known to be small containers that are embedded in the foundations of buildings, monuments and other city objects. A message is sealed inside the container to descendants, and to a wall, plate or pedestal, under which is hidden capsule, a plate is hung indicating when necessary solemn setting remove and open the container.
The famous gold plate can be considered the time capsule. The Voyager, which NASA sent in 1977 to space. On the gilded information plate materials were recorded intended for representatives of extraterrestrial civilizations: greetings, works by classical composers, sounds of nature, as well as images of our planet, chains of human DNA, atomic schemes chemical elements and much more.

American scientists Philip Lubin and Travis Bradshires decided that for our civilization, it is time to send another into space capsule to the future, much more perfect and roomy. On the this time the messages to aliens will be encoded in binary system on the so-called “chip of humanity”, which will be attached to some probe sent outside the solar system.
The “chip of humanity” will contain a huge amount digital information: texts, images, music, videos. The authors of the project hope that modern computing technologies allow them to create a compact medium that can be place millions of times more information than usual record.
Suddenly, beings from other planets take possession of the carrier and learn how we live on earth. This, according to the Americans, could be the beginning contact between two civilizations.
