In 1976 off the coast of the Nova Scotia Peninsula (Canada) fisherman Keith Ross and his son Rodney saw a huge sea monster. This Sensational news became the property of the entire local press.
Forty-two years later, Rodney Ross spoke in detail about this. stories at the recent Ulologist Festival in County Shelburne. Today, said Ross, this creature is conditionally called “southern monster sides, “and although I don’t know what exactly I came across, it really is very much like a monster.
The Beginning of the Sea Monster Story
It all started with the fact that a fisherman named Eisner Penny, now deceased, returning in his boat from the Pollock fishing site Shoal (near Cape Sable islet) and noticed that he was swimming some big animal. Frightened, the fisherman added speed, but and then could not get rid of the strange pursuer. And here is Penny I saw the protruding part of the body of the monster that reached in about four meters long. The frightened man directed his the little ship in shallow water – and only then the monster fell behind.
Finding himself on the shore, Penny told other fishermen that I saw, but they met his words with ridicule. Two days later on fishing came Kit and Rodney Rossa. They did not hear the story of Penny and therefore calmly went to the same fishing site.
Continuation of the story of the sea monster
It was a foggy day, Rodney recalls. We caught more two hundred kilograms of cod, after which the father went to the cabin to dine. I stayed on deck because I wanted to try out a new gear with a few hooks. There was no bite; suddenly I heard nearby unusual whistling noise – and I saw something floating in the fog large. At first I thought it was a different vessel, but here the object came out of the muddy veil – a huge hump that turned out to be the head, with large, up to ten inches wide, eyes located something like a crocodile.

I got scared and called my father; the two of us watched it a fantastic creature swims past our boat. Suddenly in at one point it looked with its eyes directly at us – and my hair stood on end from horror.
When the monster swam very close, it towered above the water about three and a half meters and then wide open its mouth, in which there was a great many sharp teeth. The body of the monster, or rather its visible part, was completely covered by the grown to the skin of the shell. The total length of this creature was fifteen – eighteen meters, with the head being much larger the rest of the body. Caudal fin – vertical, such have fish, but not whales. We watched this creature no more fifteen minutes during which it is completely several times went under water, and then reappeared. It was practically silent, only wheezing was heard.

A floating, giant fish nearly hit the ship, but fortunately father turned on the engine in time and managed to get the boat away from the blow. That he most likely saved the lives of both of us. Interesting that, floating away away from the monster, we met Eisner Penny’s boat, which talked about their meeting. In response, he shared his own experience and advised to flee from the monster aground.
Afterword about the Sea Monster
Three fishermen were not the only ones who saw the sea monster. Two days later, Edgar Nickerson (now deceased) and his son Robert, who traded in the same unfortunate Pollock Shoal. Nickersons noticed a huge animal from afar and not They began to wait until it approached them. Later when reporters collected the evidence of all eyewitnesses, it turned out that already in 1934 local fishermen were aware of the giant marine an animal.
However, after 1976 not a single one was registered with him meeting. Where did the “south side monster” go? Changed place habitat? Dead? And who exactly was he? This creature is described it wasn’t like sea dinosaurs and was definitely a fish, and not a pangolin. Perhaps we are talking about a certain ancient form, which survived to our time. Today’s scientists are increasingly inclined to think that such creatures are the product of parallel worlds, since other versions seem untenable to them.
