Myanmar discovered the rarest piece of amber, which is world the scientific community immediately recognized one of the most important paleontological finds of the current decade. Age petrified resin is over one hundred million years old and inside it contains the feathered tail of a miniature dinosaur living in that era. The find was written the other day in an authoritative scientific publication “Current Biology”.
The average diameter of a piece of amber is 3.6 centimeters. It is known that the find is private property, and its the owner does not want to transfer a unique item to any a museum. Instead, the stone will be directed to jewelry processing, after which it will turn into an incredibly valuable piece of jewelry. Not less, the owner of the artifact generously allowed scientists to examine amber and the tissue sample of the ancient pangolin contained in it.

Computed tomography and microscopic analysis showed that we are probably talking about a feathered dinosaur from the suborder bipeds theropod predators. It is noteworthy that the size of this dinosaur were no more than a modern sparrow, however, to the same suborder tyrannosaurus – one of the largest land predators in the history of our planet.
