The vast majority of residents of the United States of America convinced that the first woman to visit space was their Countrywoman Sally Ryde. Such results showed a large-scale survey, held recently on the streets of Chicago.
It turned out that almost ninety-nine percent respondents have false information. In 1983, she became a member crew of the Challenger spacecraft. It’s clear now why Americans have such a distorted view of the world and, in particular, about Of Russia. Recall that Valentina Vladimirovna is not only the first the fair sex, who managed to visit space, but also the only woman to date, who made such a flight alone. Similar achievements of the USSR �question the results of the Space Race, according to which America allegedly won after its famous moon landing. The latter, by the way, has been repeatedly refuted, because it is put by many the inhabitants of the earth in doubt.
