This giant hole formed in the ground on one of the streets the city of Shenzhen (China) and led to the death of a guard who, to unfortunately, he crossed the road just in this place. Tragedy turned out to be shot by one of the surveillance cameras. It all happened instantly – the man had no chance of escape. By Chinese media reports, the size of the pit is about five by eight meters, and the depth – with a four-story house. The reason for the collapse is not yet clear, we only know that the locals have long complained about tremors that they associated with going on in the area construction.
In China, such land crashes are a big problem that time only gets more serious. In 2007, there were 54 collapse, in the 2009th, this number increased to 129. And in the interval between July 21 and August 12, 2012 only in the streets of Beijing formed 99 giant pits. Most of the collapses are associated either with rapid economic development of the country, or with insufficient well thought out infrastructure.
