Some of them were verified and turned out to be false, others remain questionable because there is no possibility yet verify the validity of such assumptions. For example, in Poland before are still looking for the “golden train” of the Nazis, which may be located The Amber Room.

The latest version, where is the Russian treasury hidden, appeared recently. It was voiced by German archaeologists who claim that a masterpiece of art of the XVIII century is hidden in the caves of Ore mountains near Dresden.
These are the three German researchers – Leonard Bloom, Gunther Eckard and Peter Lohr. They are already pensioners who are about seventy years old, therefore their statement that the information was obtained from “reliable source “, many scientists doubt: whether it is senile marasmus?
But there are some strange details. For example, their fathers served together, in one Wehrmacht security battalion, which leads to certain thoughts and allows us to hope that these people could really get reliable “information from the past.”
In addition, the GPR showed that under the caves of the Ore Mountains on the border with Dresden actually hides a whole system of tunnels, in which you could hide anything. And on the walls themselves caves traces of steel cables are still visible, clearly used in due time for descent here any burdens.
It seems that this version will not be tested soon, however there was another hope that the Amber Room created Prussian craftsmen commissioned by King Frederick the First and then donated by his son Wilhelm to the First Russian Emperor Peter the Great, sooner or later, but will certainly be found returned to Russia.
