Salina Turda is an ancient salt mine, located in the Romanian city of Turde. It is the oldest in the country. mine for the extraction of this mineral – it supplied all of Romania salt from the Middle Ages to the thirties city last century, however, was forced to close due to the influx cheap imported product.
