Venezuelan poodle moth, or poodle moth, is indeed something fantastic, weird and charming as a butterfly at the same time delights and bewilders – what is it? A small creature with black eyes protruding and antennae, eyebrows, to the same “dressed” in a furry coat of a snow-white poodle – hence the name of this sweet and mysterious creature.
Amazingly attractive poodle moth with its appearance completely refutes the hackneyed phrase “inconspicuous as a moth” – what else the age! Just a charm! This is the most beautiful moth on our the planet!
This beauty was discovered by a German photographer engaged in macro shot, Arthur Anker, bumping into her at the National Canaima Venezuela Park in 2009. Taking a few shots of this mysterious butterfly, Arthur, returning home, posted them on the Web Internet and photos suddenly became viral, they liked them so much to people.

But not only regulars on the World Wide Web drew attention to unusual butterfly images, they were immediately noticed by biologists. how it turned out that this unusual mole is still unknown to science. However, in this there is nothing surprising, there is still much unexplored on our planet even on a creature, not to mention the ocean.
Snow-white fluffy moth, ultimately, was called poodle because her fur coat really looks like wool white poodle. Why exactly the mole? Scientists thought this sweetheart the butterfly is related to the “beggar bear”, too fluffy moth, though that white fluff is only on her head.
The mystery for scientists is this: why poodle moth, which lives only in warm Venezuela, such a warm coat?
