On the pages of our site an alternative view of phenomena and the events of our world were considered more than once by the most ancient technologies building and processing stone that were somehow lost by humanity because modern tools and technology in general, they are not yet able to create something like this. How so all this was done by people in ancient times – many thousands of years back if according to the generally accepted theory of human development of society at that time they used the most primitive manual tools?
One of the most striking examples of such a mismatch between our ideas about the builders of past centuries (or even millennia) and real facts is the ancient city of Baalbek in Lebanon (not far from Beirut). Back in the sixteenth century, modern civilization discovered here the ruins of amazing temples that either giants or aliens could build (then they said – gods), because neither at that time, nor even now is humanity has reached such a high level of construction and processing stone. Roughly the same thing was written about Baalbek and his Amazing Temple Structures Mark Twain, Ivan Bunin, Gustave Flaubert and many other prominent writers and travelers since these grandiose ruins from the nineteenth century became almost compulsory for visiting an educated person Landmark of the Ancient World.

The Temple of Jupiter is the most amazing construction of Baalbek. Firstly, this is the largest religious building in the world, preserved to date. Secondly, it is clearly not built using primitive hand tools. And although officially science believes that the temple was erected in the first half of the second century AD during the reign of the Roman emperor Anthony Pius, independent scholars of antiquities subject such a statement quite reasonable doubt.
There are two hard refutable evidence:
- according to legend, the temple of Jupiter was built before the “world flood “;
- the ancient Romans, and most importantly, did not possess knowledge and technologies of such grandiose construction (ideal laying, amazing stone carving, megalithic sizes of many fragments of the temple).

Who and why built this grand temple in Baalbek complex
Let’s first look at the stairs that meet anyone who approaches the ruins of the temple of Jupiter in Baalbek. It consists of 27 steps 60 centimeters high – and this is the most The widest stone staircase in the world. For whom was it built interesting? No wonder that this immediately brings about an association with by the giants. But … no other signs of the gigantism of the ancient inhabitants this area was not found nearby.

Climbing to a height of twenty with a few meters, you find yourself directly to the site of the ruins of the temple of Jupiter. The walls of the temple are also made of large monoliths, but it amazes everyone more its foundation, made of blocks of 300 tons each, and on on the west side there is generally something beyond – so called Baalbek triliton, or three blocks at the base of a weight of 800 tons each. Moreover, all these “pebbles” of which is complex the foundation of the temple, not just delivered from a quarry located in kilometer, but also cut and laid with such filigree accuracy, that no water seeps between them.

Now, let’s head straight to the quarry, where there is another, famous since the 17th century, attraction – South stone, or megalith weighing 1050 tons (for comparison, blocks famous Egyptian pyramids barely reached 90 tons). Who cut this megalith and how tried to deliver it to the site where is the temple of Jupiter, it is not clear, because for this such a lump need to raise to a height of a seven-story building and move to distance of a kilometer.
But that’s not all: in 2014, with more thorough excavations in area of the South Stone, one more carved already found under it megalith, significantly larger – 1650 tons. In the last century, the Soviet scientist M.Agrest suggested that this a miracle of building art (which is the temple complex Baalbek), impossible even for modern technology, erected aliens. Baalbek is a monument not destroyed by time or even a lighthouse under which secret knowledge is stored (unique extraterrestrial library). A bold assumption, isn’t it?
