In one of the sections of the popular entertainment site “Reddit” published an unusual video that caused a considerable number resource users an alarming reaction. Silent Roller portrays a dancer: she gets up in her arms, and then on her costume suddenly a second, fake head becomes visible.
Dancer’s skirt flips over and hides a real head women. Ballerina continues the dance, as if her legs are hands bizarre creatures and vice versa. Many commentators write that this sight looks not only surreal, but also truly frightening, like a scene from a certain horror.
Probably all the fault of the so-called “sinister valley effect”, when an object that resembles a person but is not a person, subconsciously causes us dislike, fear and disgust. On the there is also no sound, and at some moments the video becomes black and white and “crumbles” into interference.
Reddit users suggest that the author of the publication took an excerpt from a performance by a ballerina and specifically made him so gloomy. However, this does not negate the fact that a woman’s dance was originally too unusual and strange, not producing the impression of normal dance body movements.
