In the Bangladeshi district of Thakurgaon, seven-year-old Ripon lives Sarker suffering from a rare and painful illness causing his body is covered with terrible warts. Unpleasant outgrowths on the boy’s arms and legs resemble a hard bark, so many it may seem that an unhappy child is becoming stiff. By the way, in former times it was believed that people with such a disease gradually turn into trees.
The disease of a young Bangladeshi is called epidermodysplasia warty and characterized by nodular skin rashes, which are often covered with peculiar scales and merge together, thus forming extensive plaques. Medicine still not determined what causes this disease and how to deal with it, not resorting to surgery or the use of acids for burning growths.

Due to his condition, Ripon Sarker cannot walk normally and use hands, including eat and write. For two years now the boy is studying at home, completing assignments of a teacher orally and without touching the writing instruments. Child desperately wants to get rid of a terrible disease, play sports and go to school with their peers.
A few days ago, Ripon was first hospitalized. According to doctors, the boy’s parents should have put him in the hospital much earlier until the warts on his arms and legs were so numerous and large. However, doctors put a young patient a favorable diagnosis. They hope to operate Sarker, carefully removing all growths from his body and leaving his fingers child divided.
Surgeon Samantha Lal Sen, who plans to have surgery, tells that during recovery a student will need a lot of time in order to re-learn how to use their feet and hands, however, it is predicted that he will be able in the future lead a full life.
