One old woman from Thailand, dying, expressed a desire reborn as a boy. Her daughter dipped her finger in white paste and I marked the back of the head of a woman. Shortly after the death of a woman her daughter gave birth to a son with a white mark on the back of her head, which corresponded to the mark made by the white paste on the back of the head women. When the boy grew up and learned to speak, he called with his things that belonged to his grandmother, as if they were always his own. This is one of the cases told by Dr. Jim. Tucker from the University of Virginia when birthmarks may connected with past lives.

The late Dr. Ian Stevenson, whose work Tucker continues, investigated 210 cases when birthmarks or defects in children were associated with memories of a past life. Dr. Stevenson received a posthumous conclusion in 49 cases. In 43% of these cases the wound and birthmark on the body at birth were within 10 square centimeters apart, and in many cases were much closer. In some cultures, people mark dead with soot or paste to recognize them after rebirth. Here some examples where birthmarks are associated with the memory of past life that Stevenson explored.

A boy born in India without fingers on his right hand remembered a past life event when he lost his fingers due to the fact that, as a child, he put his hand into the silo. Boy from Turkey with a deformed right ear remembered how he was shot with close range by planting a bullet on this side of the head. Boy by named after Maha Ram in India remembered that in a past life he was shot from a shotgun at close range. He remembered enough details past life, which allowed Stevenson to find a conclusion about death a man who is supposedly reborn as Ram. Dear ones the spots on Rama’s chest corresponded to bullet wounds. Some stories about tags related to past lives appeared on the blog “Discussions about past lives.” Karen Kubiko placed her photos of the time when she was in high school, with birthmark on the neck and later photographs without it. She claims that in 2001 she remembered that in a past life she had a woman named Helen, who died in 1927 from a stray bullet, hit her in the neck. The birthmark was in the place where hit a bullet, according to her vision. After she is this remembered it gradually disappeared. Another woman stated on the blog that she had a birthmark on the back of her leg. She remembered, that in a previous life in this place she was bitten by a snake. Some years later she noticed that the mark disappeared. She says this place infrequently naked, therefore the disappearance of a birthmark cannot be explained by exposure to light or other external factors.
