The eleven-year-old boy was not confused in a difficult situation, when a bear attacked people in the forest, thanks to which he saved his life and their close relatives, reports Associated Press.
This happened the other day in Alaska (the largest state of the United States of America), near the village of Game Creek. Elliot boy Clark with his father, uncle and cousin at that moment went to fishing, when suddenly a huge bear jumped out of the thicket of the forest and pounced on his uncle.
The attack happened so swiftly that the man did not have time even take off the gun from his shoulder to protect himself. It is worth noting that on Alaska has very large grizzly bears that possess two and a half meters tall and incredible strength. Moreover, they can move even on rough terrain at a speed of 80 kilometers per hour. When such a fierce predator suddenly attacks person, it is almost impossible to escape from him.
In this case, the scene of the attack of a huge bear can plunge into the shock of even an adult man. But Elliot Clark is in this situation, not looking at his young age, he was not at a loss. He threw up his gun and shot a bear, hitting, however, him only in the shoulder. Naturally, the slightly wounded beast left his uncle and rushed to a boy. Elliot’s second shot hit the bear in the nose.
But grizzlies aren’t so easy to kill, even seasoned hunters, shooting such a powerful and, most importantly, cunning predator, they approach already dead beast cautiously. If the bear’s ears still stand up, they say, this means that he hid and waits for the hunter. A mighty predator, even with a bullet in his heart, can walk several meters, to punish your killer. For this reason, even a nose shot doesn’t could stop the bear, which continued the attack on the boy. But he deftly dodged a predator and shot him a third time. In it time already and uncle Elliott jumped from the ground and finished off the bear with his well-aimed shots.

As the boy’s father Lucas Clarke told reporters, not only the boy’s courage saved him, but his forethought: Elliot was the only one who carried for some reason, the gun is not on the shoulder, but in the hands, as if sensing danger, which lay in wait in the forest.
