In the West African country of Burkina Faso, there is a village of Bazule – just 30 kilometers from the capital of this state, Ouagadougou. This the village stands on the shore of the lake, where the most peaceful in the world live crocodiles. Even Bazoule’s watchmen do not remember at least one an alligator attacked a person and caused him even the slightest harm.
Crocodiles in this village are like stray dogs or cats. Residents villages feed them and even play with them, despite the fact that crocodiles, like everywhere else, look rather fierce predators. However, children recklessly bathe in the lake, women rinse their underwear, and men calmly “communicate” with reptiles by mutual agreement and mutual understanding.

Of course, crocodiles here are not as big and bloodthirsty as, let’s say nile. This, as the scientists determined, was a separate alligators – Crocodylus suchus, also called desert crocodiles or West African. But you can’t say that exclusively everything and everywhere these reptiles are just as peaceful, almost homework. And therefore no one can understand how the villagers Bazula managed to tame these predators, who are not believed to be amenable to training.
However, in the world there are cases when a man was friends with a crocodile, and because you can’t say that alligators are all without exception – aggressors to be feared and kept away from them away. For example, residents of Bazule consider their crocodiles sacred animals that descended into the lake with rains, and therefore, as long as they exist, this area is not in danger of drought. Here why do they care about alligators, feed them, even they talk with them, in a word, they are friends.

And the “ferocious” toothy predators respond to people the same. Hard say whether they attract rain to this area, as they themselves believe Africans however treat the villagers peacefully without causing none of them not only harm, but even some inconvenience, rather on the contrary, for example, play with a crocodile – this is so great!
