At the moment, in China, as in everything former socialist camp, standard for this remains social system pension norm: women go to the well-deserved rest at 55, and men at 60. However carried out wrong long-standing large-scale sociological and medical research in the country showed that in recent years (before retirement), older people experiencing excessive stress on an aging body, which leads to overwork him, various depressions, and ultimately – to reduce human life.
Chinese leadership believes that this attitude towards citizens Celestial Empire is unacceptable, and therefore it came to the conclusion that the pension age must be reduced by five years for both women and men so that they went on a well-deserved rest from 50-55 years. It is planned that such a reform will be gradually implemented already from the future years, and it will end by 2022.
The official Beijing issued a statement in which it says that reducing retirement age will not affect the country’s economy, since in this century of high technology, everything more often, heavy physical labor is replaced by machines, robots, and because scared of a lack of workers or a decrease in productivity labor in any sector of the economy is not necessary, rather vice versa. Moreover, the state is obliged to take care of health and longevity of its citizens, and especially about children and old people.
