For the first time in British Columbia, a province in western Canada after decades of persecution, a monstrous white sturgeon was caught with a completely fearless nickname Piglet. He tried unsuccessfully catch many generations of local experienced fishermen however fortunate in the end nineteen young man Nick McCabe and his comrades who spent on fighting the river resident for more than two hours, but still saved their prey’s life.

The length of the amazing sturgeon is about three meters, weight – over three centners. For forty years, Piglet has been the subject of numerous legends in british columbia. About the giant constantly talked in stores selling sports and fishing goods. Fantastic myths were spread among the children that the monster easily devours people and does not refuse to have a bite to eat another careless hard worker blue fields. But this, of course, just fiction. At least cases of cannibalism by a huge sturgeon has not yet been recorded.
Professionals believe that this fish lives in the world for more eighty years old. In addition to impressive dimensions and respectable age, a distinctive feature of a monster is its unusual the nose is pink and flat. It was because of him that Piglet got his entertaining nickname. It is assumed that at one time the sturgeon on high speed crashed into the bottom of a boat or some other surface, thanks to which his nose flattened well.

Nick McCabe and his friends accidentally stumbled upon Piglet in the river near the city of Lillouet. After a long Canadians defeated the previously elusive monster, made with him a few photos and a video, and then generously released startling prey on the wild, enabling other anglers try fate with Piglet.
Young people have become something like local celebrities and even were awarded the unofficial title of “sturgeon charmers.”
