Last weekend off the coast of the Philippines, two local fishermen made a slightly unpleasant, but very strange find.

They came across a yacht named “Sayo”, aimlessly drifted across the ocean for several years. There was a ghost ship discovered the mummified body of a German citizen Mafred Fritz Bayorath, who swam alone and died from unknown reasons. At the time of his death, he was fifty nine years.

Captain’s letter addressed to the other world

History definitely gives away mysticism, since it was possible to find out that before death, a man left a letter for his wife Claudia, which went to another world in 2010 due to cancer diseases. The couple divorced in 2008, but the German, judging by everything, did not stop thinking about his ex-wife and even his last I addressed the message to her.

It says: “For thirty years we walked with you hand in hand along one way, however, the demons were stronger and separated us from you. Now you are gone, and may your soul rest in peace. Forever Loving you Mafred. ”

It is noteworthy that Bayorat sailed on his yacht from northwestern Germany immediately after the divorce, and his wife died much later. Thus, we can assume that he someone called and reported the death of his wife, who was in the hospital French city of Martinique. The German mummified corpse was found just near the radiotelephone. One gets the impression that the man received tragic news, wrote to his lover heartbreaking letter and immediately went to heaven after her.

Captain’s heart could not stand it and stopped beating

The yacht was found to have sufficient supplies of food and water from which suggests that Biorath died suddenly. Police officers who removed his body to land, reported that everything could be to blame heart attack, but now it’s already impossible to figure out anything as the remains of the unfortunate turned to dust. It is known that The Germans have not been seen since 2009. Maybe a ghost yacht with a dead captain drifted through the waters of the Pacific for six years.

This version, according to experts, looks very believable, since such time is enough for the corpse to mummify under exposure to dry ocean winds, heat and salty air. In any case, the Philippine law enforcement agencies do not see reasons to suspect a third-party death in a European face.

Currently, the German Embassy in the Philippines trying to find Mafred’s living relatives in Germany to arrange transportation of the deceased to his homeland for burials.
