Nikita Pozdnyakov, caretaker of the Omsk cemetery located in northeastern part of the city, accidentally discovered a nameless a tombstone with a photograph that seemed familiar to him. Having carefully looked, the educated young man realized that before him is the author of the twelve-volume bestseller of the world esoteric literature Carlos Castaneda.
Castaneda is a little-known author because he was an esoteric and mystic who wrote a multi-volume work on the teachings of don Juan – Yaki Indian Shaman. They assured reporters that Carlos’s body was cremated. And so far nothing is known about the urn with the ashes of Castaneda, nor about the grave of the writer, if one exists somewhere.
