These unique shots were taken by car driver Matthew Weaver, who witnessed the Etosha National Park Namibian National Park motorcade missed a lioness with her cubs across the road. Drivers at the same time watched with bated breath the development of an almost tragic situation.

Cars were forced to stop, as people noticed lioness and lion cub trying to cross the track. However when the animals took to the road, the unconscious lion cub became interested cars – curiosity took up. Mother had to return and taking a cat lion cub by the scruff of the neck, carry it to the curb in teeth – away from amazed and even a little scared people.

But there was something to be afraid of: because of the bushes, a second one suddenly popped up a lion cub, and a big black jackal crept behind it. Lioness had torn between two cubs. But, fortunately for the mother, the jackal soon became carried away by the pheasant, leaving the lion cub alone: apparently he considered that it’s still a risky undertaking to steal a cub from under the nose of such a formidable enemy.

According to Matthew Weaver, in this situation it was harder for everyone keep the drivers especially impatient for some reason Japanese tourists. But it all ended happily: motorists they waited for the lioness to carry both the lion cubs and hide in the bushes. And only after that the convoy continued on its way.
