It has long been noticed that people are equally affected as the beauty and grandeur of the masterpieces of world art, as well as their paintings destruction under the influence of natural forces and time.
For this reason, tourists are happy to visit various ruins, not only of antiquities, but of our time, among which can be called a luxury hotel, once a decoration and an integral part of the volcanic island of Hachijo-jima of Japan (Izu archipelago).
This luxury hotel was closed, and then completely abandoned exactly ten years ago. Doesn’t know the exact reason nobody, because over time many versions were born, ranging from purely practical (danger of volcanic eruption) to mystical (with mysterious and inexplicable things happened to hotel visitors).
Please note that the hotel doesn’t look so bad, because it is located on an island and is not accessible for public visits and looting. And then, it’s still Japan …
