Biologists are sure that the friendship of a crocodile and a person impossible. There are many cases when people tamed crocodiles and began to trust them. However, in the end, they paid for this credulity and carelessness of one’s own life, since alligators ate them.
However, there is a unique case of twenty-year friendship (some mystical affection) of man and crocodile, friendship, which interrupted only due to the death of the alligator.

… It happened back in 1991, the Costa Rican fisherman Gilberto Shadden, better known as Chito, found a dying man on the river crocodile, which was shot by a local shepherd, so that the predator does not dragged his calves. Chito loaded the lifeless body of a crocodile into a boat and drove home, fortunately, that he had a pond near his dwelling. Fisherman literally nursed a crocodile like a child, feeding him chicken and fish, sometimes even chewing I write so that the animal at least swallows it. Naturally, he also used medicines. More than six months have passed before the crocodile, named Pocho, recovered.

After that, the Costa Rican drove the animal to the river and released it on the will. What was the surprise of the fisherman when the crocodile returned to his pond. So he began to live in it. True, the fisherman several more times tried to let the alligator go free, but all these attempts didn’t crowned with success – the crocodile returned to his savior.
And then Chito himself became so attached to the crocodile that he no longer could live without him. Every day a man and a five-meter crocodile in half tons weighed together in a pond and played. Scary and ferocious animal as we imagine an alligator never did not show aggression to Chito. On the first day of each new year the fisherman even traditionally stuck his head in the mouth of a crocodile, laughing, that Pocho would not dare to eat it on such a day. This number is more than once demonstrated to tourists who came to see this miracle from miracles. It’s a pity that now no one will ever see this fantastic room …
