68-year-old Abu Zakkur from the Syrian city of Aleppo is already on for 36 years wears things of bright yellow color, never putting on clothes of other colors. It all started on January 25, 1983 years when a man had a strange dream in which he was dressed in yellow and was in a surprisingly beautiful world, consisting of all yellow-sunny. This dream was like moving in some parallel dimension, impressed our hero literally to the core, forcing to change dramatically.
Since then, Zakkur wears exclusively yellow clothes and shoes. In addition, he prefers yellow umbrellas, hats, ties, a golden wristwatch, as brightly sunny wallets and mobile phones. The Syrian handed out his old things in their time to the poor. The Yellow Man, as he has long been called fellow countrymen gradually became a local celebrity. Arrivals for example certainly get acquainted with a pensioner, take pictures with him. Abu not against such attention to himself and happily poses for the camera, believing that by doing so he brings joyful sunlight to our world.

When a civil war broke out in Syria and Aleppo turned into combat zone, the unusual appearance of a man brought him a lot of trouble. Evil tongues spread rumors that Zakkur is a spy of Bashar al-Assad regime, a pimp or even a terrorist. Then the pensioner just stopped appearing on the streets cities, and many felt that he died or went to jail. TO fortunately, these fears were not confirmed, and recently Zakkur again noticed in Aleppo.
The “yellow man” still wears the familiar solar clothes and willingly photographed with everyone. Our hero tells reporters that he never intends to wear the things of others colors, because the above dream made him understand: he obliged to wear only yellow for the sake of some important mission. Maybe, the time will come when all the people on earth will be clothed in such life-affirming robes. But because he himself, as they say, only the first sign of a new society, where there will be no wars, no misery, no sad dark dresses …
