Short notes by Albert Einstein about the secret of a happy life surfaced after 95 years. One of the most famous scientists in history, whose name became synonymous with the word “genius”, passionately interested in not only by science, but, in fact, by life.

He was fond of literature, music (he played excellently on violin), sailing, gardening, philately and many other interesting things of everyday life. Contemporaries naturalists noted that he possessed an enviable cheerfulness, endearing charm, excellent sense of humor and exceptional friendliness. In other words, if someone I knew the secret of a happy existence, it is, beyond all doubt, it was Einstein.

In 1922, a theoretical physicist visited the Japanese capital to give a lecture there. In Tokyo, a scientist stayed at a hotel “Imperial”. There a little embarrassment happened to him: at some point he (in his lack of distraction) ran out of cash, and he could not tip the courier who brought him the correspondence.

Then Einstein, always distinguished by remarkable resourcefulness, he took two pieces of paper from the hotel table, wrote something on they were in German and handed over to the Japanese. The physicist smiled at the same time as he could it’s impeccable to do only him, disposing everyone to himself, after which he assured the courier:

If you are lucky and you save these notes, someday they will cost a lot more than ordinary tips, which I just can’t give you at the moment.

Here’s what one of those notes by Albert Einstein says:

A modest and calm life brings much more joy than the restless pursuit of success.

Another note tells us again – such a simple and at the same time such deep wisdom:

Where there is a will, there is a way.

The genius in science turned out to be a great visionary: the other day in Jerusalem auction was held at which the nephew of the same Japanese courier sold the first note for 1.56 million, and the second – for 240 thousand American dollars.

It’s clear that the current owners of those unique notes bought at that auction, first of all, rare things created by hand Albert Einstein, however all the other people in our world, thanks to this event, we suddenly learned the secret of simple human happiness, left to us by the great German scientist, which, as it turns out, discovered not only the laws of physics …
