In 2008, a Chinese citizen named Xiong who did not have a certain place of residence, collected bottles and accidentally found in one of the garbage containers of his baby city. Xiong first wanted to send the child to custody, however came to the conclusion that Chinese orphanages are terribly crowded, and there is always a shortage of staff, so the pupils live in there not much better than their peers on the street. Homeless people living under the bridge give away all the most valuable food baby, so she grows well-fed and healthy. Nonetheless, non-resident citizens are concerned that Yanyan cannot be educated because, like them, not has a residence permit. The girl herself claims that her house is there, where does her stepfather live.
