During festivities in the community of Dabel in Germany in a crowd people were struck by lightning. Seven people are critical condition.
Initially, an electrical discharge hit a tree, and then suddenly spread to nearby people. Injured 43 person, 38 of them were hospitalized with burns of various gravity.
Rescuers had to use helicopters to render operational assistance to victims.
