Italian police arrested nine cardiologists. Them suspected of conducting experiments on patients. Detained doctors during a special operation with the symbolic name “Dirty bathrobes. “Doctors worked in a hospital in Modena. Investigators revealed a whole criminal network, which also included suppliers of medical equipment. Using poor-quality equipment, doctors treated patients on their own methods, that is, they actually conducted clinical tests. Presumably, two patients died. Moreover, criminals laundered money through insurance companies. Profit amounted to at least a million dollars.
