The man managed to photograph an unusual phenomenon. According to him, a clot like a dirty gray blanket completely covered the area rivers from one bank to the other and sailed towards the World Museum the ocean. “When I went to work at about 9 a.m., I saw on the river here is such a light “latex blanket” with brownish hues. It covered the entire width of the river and may have moved further downstream, ” – said Vladimir Sokolov.
Local ecologists find it difficult to explain the nature of the unusual phenomena. Neither in state nor in independent environmental organizations, experts could not explain what exactly turned out to be in Pregol and what harm it can cause ecology. Versions the most diverse are put forward: from oil-contaminated snow to waste from a pulp and paper mill.
