The uniqueness of this event was not only that it was here for the first time, although this is very remarkable, more important other: at the heart of all children’s inventions that have been shown on in this competition, the main source of inspiration was not the technique (already available or reviewed in science fiction books and films), and nature itself.
The guys were presented to the audience and the strict jury all kinds of crafts, ranging from innovative clothing to robots, but they were all “spied” in nature. For example, young inventors-co-authors Jacob Koryagin and Ilya Abramov (see video) demonstrated a parrot robot “for grandparents” which can make a great company for an elderly person by talking with him, helping him in individual cases and simply replacing the home pet, and such a “bird” practically does not need any care.
And although the artificial parrot was still in the course of development, guys think that in the near future they will definitely release such a wonderful helper for the elderly. Young robot the inventors impressed the jury members who unanimously awarded him first place.

Bionics considers nature as an inexhaustible source for all kinds of inventions, and 19 contestants proved.
