Relief reproductions of paintings were performed on a special 3D printer by Estudios Durero, a Spanish printing company. Under the management of the Prado employees selected materials enhancing the tactile perception of the image. Main material became plastic. According to representatives of the museum, the cost of each reproductions amounted to about seven thousand US dollars.

If the new exhibition will be popular and will pay back yourself, in Prado will periodically arrange exhibitions of painting for the blind. In the meantime, this event is experimental and first of its kind.
