True, the glory of the prophet flew to Moscow earlier than here. they brought the most holy fool, and the people again tumbled down to him in droves. The authorities realized that you can make good money on it, and began to let people to Ivan, taking 20 cents per entrance. And although it was a lot of money in those days, on the day the holy fool took a hundred-odd sufferers of his help.

He not only predicted the future of man, but also healed from all diseases, gave wise advice on what to do in one or another cases, and so on. Over time, he was freed from shackles and even settled in a spacious room, but the holy fool continued to huddle in its corner – in the usual conditions for him. He didn’t take from anyone no fee for their help, so people brought him food that he again handed out to the needy.

Rich gentlemen also came to the prophet Koreisha, and not always with the desire to learn only about their fate, but also about the future of Russia, the world. They say that the holy fool always predicted something that then come true. What will happen to Russia at the beginning of the twenty-first century and, especially, after 2016, he did not speak. Yes its most likely nobody asked about it …

The death of the holy fool and the prophet

In the memories of this holy fool more than the most ordinary household scenes. For example, he perfectly saw through every person, therefore, if rich shodders came to him to laugh over the old man, he easily convicted them of this and shamed him, which is wonderful said in “Demons” Fedor Dostoevsky. Ivan Yakovlevich not only expelled any disease from the body, but also warned the visitor, which he must beware of life. For example, having cured the tradesman Koreyev from drunkenness, the holy fool predicted his death from the fire. Since then became aware of fires and even slept restlessly for this reason, however, it burned down from the internal fire: ate or drank something unbroken, after which he died in agony and shouting what’s inside everything is on fire.

Ivan Yakovlevich Koreisha died in 1861, exactly on September 6, as he predicted to himself. On this day, he laid his feet on the images, yes and introduced himself. His funeral was so solemn that with they could not be compared even quite loud wires of the time Nikolai Gogol or Alexey Ermolov. Suffice it to say that to five days people walked the holy fool’s coffin, almost two half a hundred memorial services, and when the coffin was carried to the church cemetery Church of Elijah the Prophet in the village of Cherkizovo, several hundred people gathered thousand People fell in front of the coffin prostrate, tried to touch it (they even gnawed chips from the coffin, but grabbed the flowers in an instant), and the grave of the prophet and healer was thrown with money … And this despite that it rained heavily that day.
