Resident of the English capital Anthony Hoyt used his own bike and the popular Strava mobile app to draw a 142km virtual snowman, thereby sharing with your fellow countrymen his Christmas mood, giving them such a unique present in a bright Christian holiday. The day before yesterday, a Londoner sat on his two-wheeled friend and more than 10 hours went around the city. As a result, the man traveled a path of almost one and a half hundred kilometers, depicting on a map of a huge megalopolis smiling snowman with a cylinder hat and a scarf. Art drawing such paintings arose very recently and received unofficial name strava-art. According to Anthony, to achieve the best result you need to choose a place with high by concentration of roads and determine on the map where it is better to depict conceived image.
Hoyt says:
I wanted to do something unusual for the New Year holidays, and the result was many times greater than my wildest expectations. The idea with a snowman came to me before the past Christmas, however, I got sick and could not then bring it to life. It took me more than 10 hours, I spent all day on it and did everything, as they say, in one sitting. True, sometimes I stopped to pop in a public toilet, or if rode in the wrong direction. But the route turned out to be very large, and such light flaws on it are completely invisible.
