Of course, Pushkin knew many ancient legends, on the basis of which he wrote his amazing tales in poetry. But here question: how true are these traditions, well, at least relatively magic mirror? ..
The magic mirror of Pan Twardowski
In the 20th century, an unusual Polish church found something unusual mirror. An inscription in Latin claimed that it was a mirror belonged to Pan Twardowski and was used by them during magical occupations. I must say that pan Twardowski – widely well-known person in Poland: he lived in the 16th century and was a spirit and astrologer. It is not surprising that the find was very disturbing the public and scientists engaged in a mirror of Twardowski.

As it turned out, its surface has camouflaged images that can appear only at a certain angle lighting. In this case, they are literally projected onto the walls in enlarged view. Similar “magic mirrors” were made once in the East, in particular in China. So, in 1086. Chinese scientist Shen Gua wrote about light-transmitting mirrors. On their back about twenty ancient hieroglyphs, which are not decipherable. Walking on the front side, these hieroglyphs are reflected on the walls of the rooms where the mirrors are located.
But back to the rarity of Mr. Twardowski. Scientists were struck the quality of the images on it and the fineness of their details. As stated researchers, this mirror is very similar to modern holograms. And this means that the master who made it knew well laws of geometric optics. Even if we assume that this the mirror was made not by an ancient Chinese craftsman, but by Pan Twardowski himself, it’s still not clear: where in the 16th century could such knowledge and technology?
The magic mirror of Nostradamus
The “hero” of the next story is the magic mirror, which in two, perhaps the most mysterious personalities, owned different times of the past, namely Michel Nostradamus and Count Saint-Germain. According to legends, the count possessed a huge number of magical things, among of which the most surprising was probably the mirror: looking at a man could see the events of the future and find out his fate. It is not surprising that Count Saint-Germain won the glory of the great soothsayer and sorcerer.
According to legend, this mirror previously belonged to Nostradamus, and it was with his help that the famous and amazing its accuracy of prediction.

Interesting fact: Catherine de Medici wrote in a diary that she saw in the mirror of Nostradamus the tragic events of Bartholomew’s night: pictures of some kind of festival, then fires, streams of blood … After that, the royal deathbed appeared in the mirror and on it a man, but in female earrings and necklaces – Henry III. Ended “session” by the appearance in the glass of someone’s big shadow …
It is not known how this mirror got to Saint Germain and what happened later – his traces were lost in the depths of years. It’s possible that this fantastic mirror is stored somewhere in hiding place or at all gathering dust in some provincial storeroom museum, and no one knows anything about it and does not even guess what kind of the treasure is forgotten here. But once the magic mirror of Nostradamus will regain “freedom” and its new owner, who will become one glorified oracle and the greatest magician …
Magic mirror of St. Sophia Cathedral in Kiev
Ancient sources claim that in Kievan Rus also there was a similar mystical mirror. In 1584 Polish priest Martin Gruneveg had a chance to visit the St. Sophia Church, where he saw a kind of witching stone-mirror. Gruneveg wrote about the big green a stone like a mirror that is placed above large temple the doors. There is a wonderful legend about him: they say, it’s evident in this miraculous mirror is what is considered secret, and there is many different stories …

There is an assumption that both Kiev and others that existed in magic mirrors are actually devices given to people by aliens or received “by inheritance” from the most ancient highly developed civilizations of the Earth. Indeed, otherwise it’s just hard to imagine where all this “magic” came from? A maybe it penetrated into our physical reality from parallel worlds more technically and even spiritually developed? Anything can be … But by the way, that just did not rank as “space” and other fantastic gifts for humanity! And are we really living on Earth, unable to perform miracles, make incredible discoveries and use the brilliant fruits of your own mind? ..
