According to the British newspaper Daily Mail, in Germany they are loyal publicity indirect evidence that the treasures of the Third Reich hidden in Poland.
We are talking about the mysterious diary of Egon Ollenhauer – an officer SS, which in this document mentions Hitler’s order to take out Germany 260 trucks with different values and hide them in eleven places in Poland. In addition, the manuscript indicates that in one cache in Breslau (the current city of Wroclaw), 28 tons of gold of the Third Reich are stored in another (no place indicated) – 47 paintings of the greatest world artists are hidden, such as Rubens, Botticelli, Monet, Rembrandt, Caravaggio, Rafael and others.
According to an employee of the German Schlesische Brück Foundation Roman Furmagnac, the authenticity of the diary is confirmed by the best experts from five institutes of Germany, including the faculty of history Arts at the University of Gottingen. However, here’s what the historian Janna Lamparska, who participated in the study mysterious diary:
The document itself is very interesting, but only in terms of stories because it contains a huge amount of details of the end Second World War. There is, in fact, a mention of the treasures of the Third Reich, about plans to take them to Poland. But to me it seems to be nothing more than assumptions or failed plans the Nazis. The fact is that the remaining SS officers, such as Egon Ollenhower never showed interest in Poland after the war. It turns out, or Hitler’s plans for the treasures of the Third Reich were changed and almost no one knew about them, or an entry in Eron’s diary is just misinformation …
