It seems to us that you just can’t not like cats: it’s a miracle some kind of amazing “soft toy” that has almost space abilities, which is why cats are even called alien creatures.
But the inhabitants of Mongolia do not like and therefore do not keep in their homes these funny furry pets, moreover, they don’t even imagine that this is possible. It is tantamount to you got a python or a crocodile at home. You can, of course, and such imagine, moreover, some of the particularly rich and exotic inclined Russians (and not only Russians) and that’s how come, but … the bulk of the inhabitants of Russia, like Europeans, Americans, it doesn’t.
But the bulk of the inhabitants of Mongolia with the same fear and neglect does not turn cats on. No, the Mongols are not afraid of these smart animals simply adhere to the traditional belief that the cat is the enemy of man. In Mongolia, there is even a belief that the dog comes early in the morning to make sure: the person she considers master and friend, alive. But the cat in this case appears only then to find out if this one died bipedal.

Scientists find the reasons for this attitude to cats in their lifestyle ancient inhabitants of this steppe and desert territory, who always were nomads, and therefore taught and appreciated dogs, but not had no need for home horse maintenance. But wild cats (many snow leopards live in Mongolia – up to 25 percent of the total number in the world) brought to the inhabitants of this a harsh land more trouble than joy because the latter are now a serious threat to livestock, not to mention already about the former harsh times.
Nevertheless, some researchers of this phenomenon of Mongolia sure that the reason for hostility to cats (domestic, not wild; in Russia, for example, does not make a lynx or Pallas a pet at home and do not blaze for him with love) lies here not only historically prevailing lifestyle, but also in something else hidden about us some kind of secret. The inhabitants of Mongolia themselves explain this “secret” very simple: cats are mysteriously mysterious and very unpredictable animals, it’s better not to make friends with such people …
